Tiraka LIFT is designed to bridge the gap between academic education and practical industry demands. It provides fresh graduates with meaningful, hands-on experience by engaging them in real-world projects in their chosen field under the guidance of experienced industry professionals.
The program equips participants with the confidence, skills, and professional exposure needed to successfully transition into the workforce. It also connects them to quality business/professional mentors able to guide them into their first entry or experienced roles. Key focus areas include:

Program Details:
Duration: 2-3 Months
Mode of Delivery: Fully Virtual
Target Audience: Recent graduates seeking to develop in-demand project and data skills and gain practical industry experience.
Capacity: 50 slots for the current cohort.
Program Structure:
- Orientation: Introducing participants to Tiraka’s mission, program expectations, tools, and platforms.
- Skill Stream: Each participant will take on real-world business projects from among any of the following job fields based on their preference and/or academic pedigree:
- Data Analysis using SQL, Excel and Power BI
- Project Delivery /Management with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Business Analysis using Jira, Confluence, Trello, Excel etc.
- Application /Software Development
- Weekly Tasks: Real world business projects that encourage practical application of acquired skills.
- Mentorship: Weekly one-on-one sessions with assigned professionals/ instructors
- Collaboration: Successfully work on projects along with other participants and presenting outcome to stakeholders
- Certificate : Tiraka will issue certificates of participation to successful and interested participants.
Registration: The Program Tuition is free but Registration fee is £50 per participant.
Criteria: Final Year Students or recent graduates from an accredited university or college. A brief motivational statement and a resume.
Selection Process: Review applications for relevance, motivation, and competence.
Tools and Resources:
Communication Tools: Slack for daily communication; Zoom for weekly meetings and mentorship sessions.
Probable Work Tools: Excel, Power BI, MySQL, Jira, Confluence, Trello etc.
Meeting Schedule:
Participant Meetings: Group sessions on Fridays to cover weekly reflections and introduce new tasks.
