Tiraka serves as a dynamic bridge, connecting educators, students, researchers, and industry partners such as employers, sponsors, and funders. This platform facilitates seamless collaboration, enabling participants to share resources and ideas effortlessly.

The Tiraka Fellowship is an elite program crafted to cultivate the next generation of leaders and innovators in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This distinguished fellowship provides exceptional students and young professionals with the essential resources, mentorship, and opportunities to hone their skills, broaden their networks, and make impactful contributions to their communities and industries.

Adopting a work-based learning approach, the fellowship offers a path to professional mastery for university students, young professionals, and new immigrants. Participants engage in real-world projects for our industry partners, learning on the job. Opportunities arise periodically, and participants are compensated based on agreements with our partners.

Fellows begin with an intensive boot camp, equipped with the necessary tools to bring their innovative ideas to life and address social challenges. Support continues for six months or more as they advance their projects, with some exploring opportunities to sustain their work with an Industry Partner Sponsor, while others may proceed independently. Throughout their training and project execution, fellows receive stipends.
